• Participation in developing G-STAND’s policy agenda to impact affordable housing issues statewide
• Providing input to the collective voice that builds consensus to gain support for housing programs and increased funding
• Access to Web Site and Web Portal and opportunity to build an organizational profile for public information and self-promotion; special access to sections of web portal 
• Periodic newsletters with important policy information, dates, job opportunities, and reports
• Policy alerts and e-mail informational bulletins
• Free or reduced fees for training events and/or educational programs
• Opportunity to receive a scholarship from the Southern District of NeighborWorks America to attend one of four Training Institues at greatly reduced cost
• Eligibility to serve on the board of directors (ten full members and five affiliate members govern G-STAND)
• Any employee of a G-STAND member organization may serve on a board committee.

Membership Qualifications

Any entity or individual that supports the mission of G-STAND is eligible to become a member. If an organization is an active housing developer its representative(s) are eligible to serve on the board of directors and/or the board’s committees.
Organizations are considered “Full” members if they:

1. are a Georgia 501(c)(3) not-for-profit;
2. have a mission that includes affordable housing;
3. have a governance structure (board of directors) that reflects its low- and moderate-income constituency; and
4. are actively engaged in implementing housing development strategies (new construction or substantial rehabilitation).

Any individual or entity that does not meet the above criteria, yet supports the Association’s mission and wants to share in its benefits is eligible to apply for Affiliate Membership by submitting an application and payment of the appropriate annual dues.

Annual Dues Schedule

Full Members: (active not-for-profit housing developers only)

• $200 for operating budgets up to $199,999
• $350 for operating budgets $200,000 to $449,999
• $500 for operating budgets over $500,000.

Affiliate Members: (all others who support the G-STAND mission)

• $100 for not-for-profits with operating budgets up to $100,000
• $100 for individuals
• $250 for not-for-profits with operating budgets that exceed $100,000
• $500 for all other Affiliate Members
